Barcelona have issued a statement on Saturday morning to reveal the extent of the injury suffered by Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez striker against Athletic Bilbao in the opening of La Liga yesterday.
Suarez complained of pain in his right leg and was taken off the pitch and was replaced by Ravenna Alcantara.
The official statement of Barcelona: "Luis Suarez underwent medical tests this morning, which confirmed his injury to the right leg muscle, and his return to participate linked to the extent of recovery."
In the same context, the newspaper "Marka" Spanish, that Suarez's absence from the stadiums may extend between three and four weeks, and therefore will be his return to participate after the next international suspension.
Barca were beaten 1-0 by Athletic Bilbao in San Mames' stronghold, to start the defending campaign in the worst possible way.
